occupation: investgator of (primarily) paranormal/supernatural/occult affairshistory: had a twin brother who drowned when they were about ten. was blinded in their left eye from an infection rhey got the same day. ran away from home when they were a teen. was roped into a relationship with a woman in her 20s, whom they really only stayed with for the sake of stability. ditched her a few years later after meeting an exceptionally friendly bartender who turned out to be a vampire. he eventually turned them but they developed an illness that requires them to consume human flesh in addition to blood. later killed their ex girlfriend, then briefly returned to their childhood home to kill their father as well. spends a lot of time at sea; lives on their boat more than in their apartment.personality: curious & observant. very good at reading people. likes to know peoples secrets; doesnt usually care about their whole life story (but will pretend to to keep on good terms). a bit manipulative. will change how they act to try to appeal to whoever theyre talking to & will try to guide the conversation to get what they want out of it. can sometimes abruptly drop contact with someone if they no longer find them useful. avoids telling others much about themself. prefers not to draw attention — not unapproachable, just unassuming. has a lot of connections & seems to know something about everyone but has few close relationships. more interested in physical intimacy than emotional connection. has a bit of a temper. tends to either channel emotions like fear & sadness into anger or just bottle them up to avoid actually dealing with them. prone to breakdowns if things build up for too long.

occupation: monster hunterhistory: the only known survivor of an attack on the village where he lived; suffered severe burns & lost his left leg from above the knee. also has extensive scarring from a werewolf attack years later, which would have been fatal (it was not a full moon), so he was injected with vampire blood to "save" him. claims to work as the night shift "groundskeeper" at the abandoned church he lives in (which is considered a historical site & is closed to visitors after sunset — but the rumors of a monster roaming the grounds keep luring people in). possibly gets a little too much enjoyment out of hunting.personality: generally very sociable, but difficult to befriend. vain & kind of a bitch. likes to tease. flirts for fun, but gets uncomfortable if someone retaliates with genuine interest. a bit twitchy. definitely doesnt get enough sleep. likes to tinker & make things (including his own prostheses). always has several projects in progress at any given time. very irritable if distracted while trying to work on something. prone to sudden bouts of depression.
